Throwback Thursday: Halloween Decor 2013

[Featured image is in fact Jacks I carved in 2009- Yes, they are of Trick ‘R Treat’s Sam!]

We generally put up the same stuff each year except we just add more lol.😌

This TBT is is honor of 2013’s layout (last year was pretty much the same)! Our house is the most boisterous on the block that’s for sure! lol☺️

We will most definitely be building our own props this year to add a bit more to our outdoor layout!

And I couldn’t be more excited to share all of that progress with you in the coming months!πŸŽƒπŸŽ‰

So, what do you typically put out for Halloween decorations? Do you decorate outside or inside more? How excited are you for the upcoming haunting season?!πŸŽƒπŸ˜†

Throwback Thursday: Franken-Puppy

Once upon a time my dog was a tiny, adorable little puppy.πŸ’œ

He’s still adorable and acts like a puppy even though he’s a lot taller and dopier now.😌

This is Frankenstein. πŸ’œ

Do you have any pets?

TBT: Halloween 2014

Halloween is the greatest time of the year. I don’t care what anyone else says to refute that! They’re filthy liars in need of mental help.πŸ˜’

I throw one party a year and it’s our annual Halloween soirΓ©e. Everyone in this household and friends near and far (even friends of friends) discuss how awesome our Halloween set up is.πŸŽƒ

Fun fact: Photos from our 2010 party were featured on Justin Timberlake’s website. For real! So awesome. 😏

Last year’s Halloween theme was “After Dark in New Orleans” and it was a blast! Probably the most delicious theme I’ve ever come up with. The theme was bayou/cajun inspired, with a dash of voodoo, touch of vampirism, and splash of Mardi Gras flair thrown in.πŸŽ‰

So, the party favors I made last year were little parcels complete with handmade mini voodoo dolls. They only took a couple hours to make and I made a point to sew slips of paper in the dolls. My guests had to cut them open when they got home for their “thank you for attending” messages.

Yes, I’m a little messed up.☺️

Also! Here’s some cupcakes I made for the party and a severed arm I received in the mail from my Godfather last year.

Man… I love Halloween.πŸ’œ

What about you? What’s your favorite Halloween memory from last year?
